Kombucha

I took a class at the health food store on Kombucha. I started making it (its a fermented green tea) just wonderful. It tastes like apple juice. I can't tell you how my energy level has improved. My 86 year old mother has energy she hasn't had in years. I reccomend anyone to google Kombucha and read all about it. There is video on utube also. FYI You need a mushroom to get started (its really a culture but they call it a mushroom).

How is he doing Linda? You're right about it all being in the plan. I'm not sure what his injuries are but I sure hope that the 2 of you can get back out there and saddle up again. It's hard to get past but if you can, it's worth it on the other side of the fear. It just takes awhile sometimes. I've included one of my favorite quotes for you. It was instrumental in getting me back up once upon a time...Love and light to you both.

We cannot truly face life until we face the fact that it can and will be taken away from us.

I have ridden my motorcycle all over the North east since 2003 (9000miles) and we all feel the sadness when a rider goes down. Please know that my husband and I are praying for your husband AND you, and so many others are keeping you in their prayers.
Try to use the gorge days AND the VLCD days to your benefit as they are all almost "mindless eating" days. Get your weights and portions together so you don't have to do it every day and then you can just eat and go and spend more energy on your husband getting better and keeping your mind in a good place.
Sometimes thinking LESS about what we eat can be a good thing and ease the stress of our day.
God bless and let us know whenever you need a few words of encouragement or someone to chat with. We're all pulling for you Linda!

Hi Linda,
So sorry about your husband, hope all is OK with him! Yes, stress is a killer to the diet. It might be a good idea to wait a little.
For mixing, just think of it as a recipe using some different tools. Read the instructions a few times, picture your hands moving everything about. All you are doing is moving water from one vial to another, with a little stop to pick up the hcg along the way. :-)

Linda, Thank you :-) No, it hasn't been hard for me. I have been fortunate to lose an average of about 0.9 lbs a day while on p2. Everyone is different and loses at different rates. Even from round to round your weight loss can be different. But you can try to tweak both your hcg dosage and diet to optimize your losses.
