Hi Stephanie, I missed a question from you in one of the posts, sorry =( You asked me where I was. I'm out in Queen Creek (Copper Basin/Johnson Ranch area) if you know where that is. Nice to find other like minded people in the area! Our weather is starting to get better at least!!!! =)

I'm a fan of Dr. Mercola, but his stance on Raw milk is where I have to part ways with his ideology. I don't feel that he is looking at the big picture in regards to the effects that Dairy has on the human digestive tract. He clearly understands the issues with pasteurization and homogenization, BGH, antibiotics, etc., but the issue is much broader than that.

There are several online references, but the one that I've found that has the largest amount of information AGAINST the consumption of dairy is www.NotMilk.com.

Dairy in all of its forms is biologically incompatible with the human digestive tract. Raw milk is MUCH better than processed/pasteurized/homogenized milk. Raw Goat's milk is even better still.

However, even Raw milk (be it cow's or goat's) is still an immunosuppressant in humans. The protein content is too high, fat content is too low (as well as being the wrong type of fats), and the vitamin/mineral complex is out of whack for human absorption (way too high in phosphorous for example, which actually LEACHES Calcium from humans in order to assimilate it).

Again, Raw cow's milk is certainly better than "regular" cow's milk, and raw goat's milk is even better still than raw cow's milk. But, NO milk is the best option yet.

Remember, the lesser of evils is still...evil...

hahaha Stephanie, yep, I did mis-spell a lot.But I AM burning a candle at both ends, and end up being too tired to care about my spelling at times. I just couldnt resist razzing Ronnie after seeing his post. Too funny.
He actually had 4 words mis-spelled. He spelled health...heath...LOL...guess I wouldnt make a good editor either.

Stephanie, welcome to the NC Community!

Have you ever considered completely eliminating Dairy (even RAW forms) from your regimen?
