Hi, Kat. Welcome to the forum!

For Seven+ business stuff, you can call my husband at 352-255-5395 or email him at allenmoss@cfl.rr.com. He is a distributor and very active with the corporate staff. I don't have much time to devote to the business side of things because of homeschooling and my health ministry, but I love Seven+ as you can tell from my testimonials. I am hearing amazing things back from the people I've been helping with my ministry that have tried everyting out there and were ready to give up. Many of them are getting their friends on Seven+, and they are not even distributors; they're just sending people to my husband's website to get the free bottles.

I wish you all the best with your own health and other endeavors!

Blessings,
Miriam

Hi Kat, my son has a pink toe tarantula, and my other son used to have a rose hair which he sold several years ago.
Before my son got the pink toe, he had a vietnamese something or other tarantula that was very aggressive.
It was to grow really large and I didn't like the idea of such an aggressive spider that would grow to the size of a dinner plate sharing space with me =)

Kat, I am new to natural cures but hope I can be of help to your mom. I am a respiratory therapist and I also have asthma. First of all there are many natural supplements that will give relief as well as help to boost her immune system. But before I go into all of that, I need to stress that Asthma is controlled, but it NEVER goes away, therefore an Albuterol rescue inhaler is still needed in case of an emergency. I have found that if I keep my immune system strong I can go months and sometimes a year without a symptom, but you never know when you may be fatigued or stressed in some way that will weaken your immunity. That being said let me share a few things that will help and the name of a book that gives most of this information and more.
1. Vitamin C powder! it is a natural antihistamine. Take it every day prophylacticly. If having symptoms 2 - 20 grams a day is the reccomended dose. You can buy Vitamin C powder at health food stores or as the namebrand Emergen-C. Which is what I use. When I feel symptoms coming on I mix up a package and drink it, I wait 5 or 10 minutes and drink another, I do this until I get relief, I've never had to take more than 3. But I'm sure it will vary person to person. Vitamin C can cause diarrhea, back off on how much you are taking if you start getting diarrhea. As your immune system improves you will be able to lower the amount of Vit. C needed. Also, Chewable C, be careful with these tablets as they can eat the enamel off of your teeth. Take these when eating a meal or rinse very well after chewing them.
2. Magnesium (powder/tablets) 300-600mg a day. Magnesium relaxes smooth muscle, asthma is caused by the constricting of smooth muscle, most asthmatics are at least a little deficient in magnesium. CAUTION: those with renal problems be very careful when supplementing Mag. because inadequate excretion of Mag. can lead to toxic levels. it can also cause loose stools.
3. Take a good multi-vitamin mineral supplement to help balance out taking a large dose of one specific nutrient like Vit. C. to help avoid any adverse effect from one nutrient.
4. Eat healthy!
5. Do the cleanses if at all possible and take a good probiotic, the bowels ARE directly linked to asthma and allergies.
6. Drink Green Tea.
7. Avoid any known triggers, perfumes, smoke, animals, dust, mold etc. (maybe this should have been first, but I assume most people know this.)
I don't want to take up your whole page, but hope maybe I have shared something you might not already know.
8. Control GERD, acids creeping up during the night get inhaled into the lungs and cause asthma symptoms, there are natural ways to control reflux, please don't get caught up in the "prescription drug" "side effect" vicious cycle that I got into, it isn't worth it.
Last I would reccomend a book called Asthma Clinical Pearls in Nutrition and Complementary Therapies, by Kirk Hamilton and Kristine Roberson published in 1997 by IT Services in Sacremento CA
It is for educational purposes and costs less than $20, I assume it is still available from them. I purchased mine on E-bay as a used book for about $5, and you may be able to find a used one. It covers all of the conventional methods of treatment (except for the new drugs that have been recently introduced), but it is the complimentary therapies that this book is really good for. It is easy reading, not a bunch of medical jargan you don't understand unless you're in the medical field.
If I can ever be of assistance to answer a question, please feel free to contact me. If I don't know the answer I will do my best to find it.
