Joanie, those packets are not pure Stevia Powder. I had some of those and couldn't get used to the taste either. Then I found some "pure" Stevia Powder (no fillers or other dilutions) made by Sweet Leaf www.sweetleaf.com. 25 grams was $14 at my health food store. Serving size is 1/40 of a teaspoon. I have a small bottle in my handbag and I just need to touch the end of my straw into the pwder and it makes my beverage plenty sweet.

I, of course, am another Floridian. Thanks for the invitation. ARe you using pure stevia powder? They make some stevia products with other things in them so that it is easier to scoop out with a spoon. Pure stevia powder you need so very little that I can hardly taste it!

Thanks for the add. I don't know what to say about your pup that has micro plant chip in it. I think if you feed your pet something healthy it should be fine. I think some people will suggest take that chips out. That what I think.

I'm still trying to get used to stevia (my daughter uses)! I had natural cane sugar crystals. I always thought that cranberry sauce was so healthy, until I read the can label-high fructose corn syrup! Now I buy Ocean Spray 100% juice; Cranberry/Pomegranate (no sugar added--I've tried all flavors and this one is the sweetest). I drink 8 ozs with lunch every day. Otherwise water, and some tea (but I have to sweeten it). Celestial Seasonings "Honey Vanilla Chamomile" is good! And it is decaf, and all natural.
No, tornado was in "South: Cape. Daughter is in North West (off Burnt Store Rd-almost at Charlotte County Line) and I found Windmill Village in North Fort Myers; just boardering Cape Coral, so it is an easier commute to Ft Myers City Hall, just over the Caloosahatchie River, where I work. It's a beautiful ride!

Joanie,
Seems like we have a few Florida people on the site. Was the tornado close to you? I have basically cut out the sugar. Getting used to the stevia. Had one Dr. Pepper today and ended up pouring part of that out. I bought some rootbeer with ginsing at the health food store without looking at the label first. Turned out it had high fructose corn syrup. Guess that won't be a good substitute ;-). Bought the Oolong tea and yerba mate tea. They aren't bad. Yeah, we enjoy our lifestyle. It does have its drawbacks though.
