Hi Maria,
Welcome to the community. It may seem a little difficult at first, but you'll get there. I started a little over two years ago by doing or eliminating everything I could that is outlined in chapter 6 of NC, and I feel better than I've ever felt.

Hey there, haha.. no problem. No I haven't tried the protocol. I actually lost all the weight I needed too just by implementing as many things as possible after reading Kevin's first book, so I don't need too. Are you? If so, how's it going?
