“The more glyconutrients we can directly supply to the body, the more raw materials it has to work with to re-balance our immune networks, help drive our energy pathways, help sweep up dangerous oxidants, and control the sophisticated cellular reactions that determine whether we are healthy or sick. When given the right tools, the human body has an enormous capacity to correct and heal itself. Each cell needs all of the essential sugars. The fewer the body has to convert on its own, the fa… Continue

Stem cell research is awe-inspiring, exciting, and one of the most controversial areas of science today. This is because the unspecialized stem cells can potentially migrate to any damaged tissue in the body and replace the damaged tissue with healthy cells, thus curing the disease. This research is controversial because one method to obtain stem cells involves harvesting human embryos.
So the questions we pose are: “Is the controversial research on stem cells a new miracle afforded to mankind…

The most important discovery for your immune system in the last 100 years is something called glyconutrients. Science and medicine have long tried to understand the code by which the cells in the body communicate with one another in order for its complex functions to occur. For example, how does your digestive system know which food components to absorb into the blood stream and which to ignore? Or which cells to attack and destroy and which to protect and nurture? That code has now been broken.…

I started taking 5-HTP about 2 and a half weeks ago. I started taking it after reading the book "The Mood Cure" by Julia Ross. The first time I took it I could feel the change in me after only ten minutes. I felt a lot calmer and this lasted for a couple of days. Then it kind of wore off and so I upped the dosage. The higher dosage didn't help too much so then I upped it to the maximum. I forgot to take it a couple of days ago and since it wasn't helping all that much at the time I just kind of stopped taking it. I might try again. I am not really sure why it was working so well and then stopped.
I paid $17.99 for a bottle of 90/50mg capsules at my local health food store. I started off taking 1 capsule, twice a day at around 3:00pm and 10:00pm. I then upped it to 2 capsules, twice a day and then finally to the maximum the book recommended, 3 capsules, twice a day. (300mg total)
I wasn't taking anything else with it. There are a lot of other suggestions in the book I am reading and I am planning to look into my situation further. I don't know if the book may be something that would be useful to you. I haven't tried anything else yet so it is a little early for me to know. I thought the 5-HTP was going to be great after I first started taking it, I don't know if you might have better results with it. I am going to keep searching and trying things so if I have any successes I would be happy to share them with you. Living with anxiety is a very frustrating thing!
